The Pilot
The Moto is designed for the newly qualified paramotor pilot, seeking a first reflex wing that prioritises safety without limiting progression. With its EN-A certification and high level of passive safety, the Moto provides a reassuring platform at the earliest stages of independent flying. For pilots looking to build experience with confidence, while benefiting from enhanced performance from the outset, the Moto represents a balanced and dependable choice.
The Tech
The Moto shares the proven profile of the Ozone Roadster 4, refined specifically for new pilots. It delivers efficient cruising speeds with excellent stability, clear feedback, and intuitive handling. A moderate aspect ratio of 5.0 ensures a safe, predictable, and forgiving wing that is easy to launch and manage. Its 40-cell design strikes an ideal balance between comfort, precision, clean aerodynamics, and low weight.
Certified EN-A, including accelerator use with trimmers closed, the Moto prioritises safety without compromising real-world performance. An optimised internal structure, combined with advanced 3D shaping, improves airflow for easier launches and greater efficiency. The high arc design maintains strong sail tension, resulting in precise control and a cohesive feel in flight.
Winglets enhance roll stability, offering a smooth and composed ride during extended cruising. Rollercam trimmers allow for precise in-flight adjustments, while the updated printed webbing provides clear visual guidance for accurate speed control.
Certification
The Moto has been load tested to 8 g in accordance with the EN 926-1 standard and is recognised by the DGAC. Following extensive in-house development, all sizes were independently flight-tested to the EN 926-2 standard, achieving EN-A classification.
Certification was carried out using the full foot-operated speed system, with the trimmers set in the slow position. We believe this represents an industry first: reflex-profiled wings have traditionally only been certified at trim speed without the speed system engaged. This approach provides an additional layer of passive safety that more accurately reflects real-world flying conditions.
In Flight
The Moto is designed to deliver a predictable, confidence-inspiring experience from inflation to landing. It inflates smoothly with no overshoot, while the lower take-off and landing speeds encourage controlled launches and gentle touchdowns. In the air, handling is intuitive and balanced, offering pilots refined precision without complexity. An extended trimmer range enables higher top speeds when needed. Across the full speed range, the reflex profile and winglets ensure excellent stability and a composed, secure feel in turbulent conditions.
