Intro
The main aim during development was to create one of the most comfortable tandem pilot harnesses on the market. After extensive professional use across two full seasons, every comfort detail was refined while still keeping the harness among the lightest in its category.
The Pilot
The Zig is designed for both professional and recreational tandem pilots who want the highest level of comfort. With its intuitive design and low weight, it is exceptionally practical and delivers a relaxed, comfortable experience, even during intensive professional use.
The Tech
Every part of the development process focused on producing a tandem harness that is ergonomic, comfortable, durable, and easy to use. Before take-off, setup is simple thanks to a straightforward 2-buckle closure system, which is easy to operate even with large gloves. The light, compact foam protector follows a split-leg concept to make running on take-off easier.
The rescue system is designed for easy extraction in all directions and uses a 2-zip closure. The reserve compartment is well protected from dust, dirt, and snow, and is intended to fit either a light or standard tandem rescue. Multiple pockets with cords and zippers, along with the large rear compartment, provide practical storage for everything from a short tandem flight to a long XC.
Certification
The Zig and its protector are certified to EN 1651-2018 for pilots up to 120 kg.
In Flight
Designed for the demands of long peak seasons and high flight volumes, the Zig combines lightweight construction with comfort features that help maintain pilot efficiency throughout full days of tandem flying.
Its back and leg support system is designed to provide lasting comfort tailored to each pilot’s shape. Optimised thigh support and balanced back rigidity help reduce pressure points from the knees through to the shoulders. The hip height adjustment allows pilots to fine-tune the balance between in-flight comfort and ease of sitting or standing.
